The data files are grouped by state and include an organization’s name, address, employer identification number (EIN), date of exemption ruling, and other information, such as the applicable subsection code – 501(c)(3), (c)(4), (c)(5), etc. – foundation code and organization code."

Solar Power Contract Opportunity

State of California needs a contractor to finance, design, engineer, construct, install, operate and maintain 3rd Party owned solar photovoltaic power generating system at State host facilities under a site license agreement. The solar power generated will be delivered and sold to the State host facility under a power purchase agreement for a term of 20 years. Systems anticipated to be installed include roof mounted arrays, parking canopy systems, and one large ground mounted array. Total estimated solar power generating capacity for this RFP is 9.6 MW ac. This encompasses 15 State host facilities.

FDA Issues Update on Animal Cloning

After years of detailed study and analysis, the Food and Drug Administration has concluded that meat and milk from clones of cattle, swine, and goats, and the offspring of clones from any species traditionally consumed as food, are as safe to eat as food from conventionally bred animals. There was insufficient information for the agency to reach a conclusion on the safety of food from clones of other animal species, such as sheep.
