Wellmark Foundation -- Health Mini-Grant Program for Iowa and South Dakota: "Grants of up to $5,000 will be awarded. A total of $50,000 has been allocated for the competition. Examples of initiatives eligible for funding through the mini-grant program include projects to: develop a coalition; conduct a community survey; develop a health fair or a certified diabetes education program; or other similar local health projects. The program is limited to nonprofit organizations with 501�(3) status located in Iowa and South Dakota. "
