Identity Theft Symposia: Building Consumer Confidence in an E-Commerce World: "The FDIC is sponsoring three identity theft symposiums in San Francisco, California and at locations to be determined in the Phoenix area and Florida focusing on Building Consumer Confidence in an E-Commerce World. The 2006 symposium series will continue the FDIC's efforts to facilitate dialogue on the risks and solutions for e-commerce and payment system fraud that can lead to a loss of confidence in on-line banking and retail transactions, and potentially to identity theft."
