San Francisco - California courts will be hosting special events throughout November to educate the community about the continuing need for adoption and permanency of foster children and youth. Adoption Saturdays, now a yearly tradition, are held the Saturday before Thanksgiving. This event and others are efforts to encourage adoptions of foster children in their communities. November is Court Adoption and Permanency Month
