NATIVE-AMERICAN LAW ENFORCEMENT GRANTED $12 MILLION TO STRENGTHEN CRIME FIGHTING EFFORTS: "WASHINGTON, D.C. -The U.S. Department of Justice Office of Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS) today announced grants totaling more than $12 million that were awarded to 103 tribal law enforcement agencies and governments to purchase much needed crime fighting equipment and to receive training and technical assistance."
