When it does arrive, the disease could have significant economic, social, and ecological impacts. Come hear how the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS), and the USDA's Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) are working with other Federal and State partners in a coordinated, scientific surveillance program designed to provide an early warning to the agriculture, public health and wildlife communities, as well as to the public.
