DIR verifies Michael Jackson's payment to employees for back-wages: "San Francisco -The Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) today confirmed directly with employees of Neverland Valley Ranch that they were paid wages owed them by Michael Jackson. DIR will now begin the process of auditing payroll records to verify that proper wage payments were made. Verification will not be completed until sometime next week. "
