ADHD Medication Misuse by Those Aged 12 to 17 Results in Higher Number of Visits to Emergency Department: "People ages 18 to 25 have a higher rate of nonmedical use of the two medications used to treat attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), but those 12 to 17 may be at greater risk for adverse health effects, particularly from nonmedical use, a new report from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) shows."
