Housing Resource Helps Landlords and Displaced Families: "The FEMA Rental Resources Department has been contacting property managers, housing associations, owners and real estate companies to gather and maintain rental property information. To date, the department has identified approximately 2,000 apartments in both Jefferson and Orleans parishes, 1,100 in Baton Rouge , nearly 800 in Lake Charles and 400 in St. Tammany Parish. Additional units are available in almost every parish in the state."
