17th Annual Family Wilderness Day: "17th Annual City of Duarte Family Wilderness Day! This event will be Saturday, April 22nd at Encanto Park. Vulcan Materials will open their gates and allow access to the original Fish Canyon Trail. This entrance to the trail will shorten the hike to 3.2 miles round trip. Hikers need to come prepared with sturdy hiking shoes and carry their own water. Activities at Encanto Park will feature wilderness skills, hands-on nature experiences, and fun for everyone. "
